About MakeWash
Software for pressure washing operators — built by a small team that has actually run residential service businesses, not by a generic field-service vendor adding pressure washing as a checkbox.
The big field-service software vendors built tools for plumbers, HVAC, and lawn care, then told pressure washing operators to make do. The result: pricing models that don't fit per-sqft work, scheduling UIs designed for fixed-time jobs, and zero help with the things that actually drive revenue for a pressure washing operator — instant estimates, soft-wash chemistry tracking, and re-engaging last spring's customers when the new season starts.
MakeWash is the alternative. It started as a free pressure washing estimate calculator and a set of operator playbooks — pricing math, insurance breakdowns, surface-by-surface technique — and is growing into a full operating system for solo and small-crew pressure washing pros.
We charge nothing today. We're focused on shipping the calculator, the content, and the early product iterations that make running a pressure washing business less painful. When we charge, it'll be the $49/month price our parent product runs on, and you'll know about it a month before any plan changes.
What we believe
- Pricing is the highest-leverage skill an operator owns. We publish operator-grade pricing math openly so you can charge correctly from day one, not by gut.
- Software should follow the trade, not the other way around. Every workflow we build assumes you're estimating from a truck, not a desk.
- Content earns the right to charge. If our blog isn't more useful than the SaaS giants', we don't deserve your $49/month.
Who we are
MakeWash is built by Houseler, the home-services CRM platform that powers the underlying customer, scheduling, and SMS infrastructure. Bootstrapped, no outside investors, no growth-at-all-cost incentives misaligned with long-term operator success.
